Fully Optimized for Search Engines
There are many strategies for building websites so search engines can find them easily. I will build you a site that maximizes your potential for being found when people are looking for you. I'll help you come up with all the right "meta data" and other methods for optimizing your chances for success.

Flash
Flash is an extremely cool technology to enhance a website design and all computers have the ability to display Flash animations. Adobe, the owners of Flash, claim that 98% of all computers have Flash players installed.

Entire websites can be constructed using only Flash. Alpine Geek sites are more typically HTML based designs that incorporate Flash elements for enhanced graphics, and general eye candy. This helps keep costs way down while still having some "flash". The image above is a good example of using Flash on an HTML page.

Sites constructed entirely from flash are indeed fun, but they are also considerably more expensive to build, take longer to load, have screen size issues, and are more difficult and time consuming to edit in the future. Using Flash elements in a site design is a great way to have some fun without making a site too busy and confusing.

Java Scripts
Java Scripts are used for a variety of purposes. Alpine Geek websites typically use them for site navigation and some types of photo galleries. These scripts are invisible to the public and are strictly a "behind the scenes" method for performing simple programming commands. These scripts are not to be confused with the Java programming language by Sun Microsystems... Alpine Geek Java Scriptswhole different ball of wax.

Website navigation listings and buttons are generally performed using this scripting to carry out site wide navigational changes, such as a new page being added to a site. The navigation buttons at the top and bottom of this page are controlled by this type of scripting.

The main problem with using Java Scripts is that it is currently not possible for search engines to read them, so additional strategies are needed so the search engines can properly index all of the pages on your site. Don't worry, the Alpine Geek takes care of all this mumbo jumbo.

Photo Galleries
Do you have lots of images to share? Then you're in luck! There are all sorts of new and fun ways to showcase your images. From simple photo galleries to interactive Flash galleries, now is an exciting time for posting images to the web.

The example on the right is a Flash "autoplay" animation and there are dozens of styles from which to choose.

Brian Biggs of Alpine Geek helped create our website at Estes Park Baptist Church.   He goes the second mile, and for us has been extremely helpful.   He is always professional, very knowledgeable, and  does stay on the cutting edge---truly, a joy with which to work.   We invite you to view his work at epbc.net.  Several of our business folks have hired him for their businesses.   They have experienced the same wonderful assistance.

Last fall, we contracted with Brian Biggs to update, renovate and move the domain of our ten year old web site. Having worked briefly with Brian several years ago on some television advertising, gave me a great appreciation for his enthusiasm, creativity and desire to satisfy.  Brian has been wonderful to work with and remains extremely responsive to anything we want done.  We are very pleased with the results of his work.
